Today's edition of the Gazzetta dello Sport ( Italy's most widely read sports daily) features an interview with Lamaro. Among the various things discussed during the interview there is also space for several situations of the Welsh away match described as unpleasant by the Italy captain. In addition to the little respect given to the Italian team in post and pre-match statements, Italian players had to stop warming up early ( a quarter of an hour before the anthems), family members were reserved seats with very poor view of the field, and were not allowed to attend the third half. All this according to Lamaro is definitely far from the usual treatment that a host national team gives to the visiting team.
