The no-confidence motion brought against president of the Democratic Labour Party (DLP), Dr Ronnie Yearwood, is invalid.
That is the ruling of the executive council of the party following a three-hour meeting at the DLP’s George Street headquarters tonight.
The meeting started at 6 p.m. and ended at 9 p.m.
Speaking to media immediately after the meeting, General Secretary of the DLP, Steve Blackett, said the executive council ruled there were several procedural flaws with the motion. (CM)
